Smaller than the iPod mini at expense of disk space
Introduced in September 2005 to replace the iPod mini, the iPod nano is much smaller than the iPod mini and sports the click wheel and a colour screen.
It has flash memory instead of a hard drive which may improve the product lifespan though this means capacities are much smaller than the iPod Mini. Data transfer (song and photo syncing)
is via USB2.
iPod Options and Accessories
The iPod nano comes in White or Black and capacities of 1GB, 2GB and 4GB. The capacity is engraved on the back of the case. The iPod nano does not support video and can not connect to a television to view photos.
